We have started a parish conference of the Society of St. Vincent De Paul (SSVDP) at St. Patrick’s Church. Our purpose is to help friends in need in the Portland Area Parish/School District footprint while growing in spirituality and friendship.

The core work of the SSVDP is home visits. Members visit the homes of people who have requested assistance, and in these person-to-person encounters we offer a listening ear, spiritual support through prayer, and material help.  If you or someone you know needs financial support for groceries, rent, utilities, essential home repair or is need of prayer or a listening ear please call or email Todd Davlin at 517.743.4128 or ssvdp@portlandstpats.org.  If you are interested in getting involved, or wish to support SVDPS with a donation please reach out to Todd for more information. A donation box has been placed in the back of Church (under the bell pull cord) if you wish to make a donation.
