As the Teacher Consultant, my role at St. Patrick School is to support the teachers in implementing a student’s NPSP (non public school plan) for special education services. My caseload typically consists of students with Learning Disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Emotional Impairments or Health Impairments as their eligibility for special education. I develop and hold each student’s annual NPSP with a team consisting of parent, student, administration, other support services and the general education teachers. At times, I also meet with the students to help assist in their aides/services such as tests read aloud, small group setting, accommodated assignments.
Peer-2-Peer Program
St. Patrick School also participates in the Peer-2-Peer Program.
