Early Elementary Admissions

St. Patrick School offers three choices for early elementary:

  • The preschool has a 2-day program for children who are 3 years old, a 2-day with an optional 3rd day program available for children who are 4 years old, and a 5-day program.
  • The multi-age kindergarten program is designed for students who are 4 years old and turn 5 before December 31, or turn 5 on or before November 1 of the school year of enrollment.
  • A developmental assessment is administered to any student enrolling in St. Patrick School for K or kindergarten; students are assessed in the spring and are assessed only one time in their early education career. Once placement is determined by the screener, the results are shared with the parents.

Registration of Transfer Students

Students interested in transferring to St. Patrick School must apply for admission. Students should enroll within the first week of any academic quarter, but exceptions may be made at the discretion of the school administration. Decisions regarding admission are made following a review of the student’s full academic, attendance, and disciplinary record from the current school. This includes appropriate credentials (transcript of credits and/or report cards). Falsification or withholding of documents, records, etc., and/or concealing of serious problems are grounds for immediate dismissal. Admission of transfer students is subject to an entrance interview of the student and the student’s family with the principal or designee, and is subject to the approval of the principal.

St. Patrick School shall not admit any student expelled from any school pursuant to PA- 328 (pertaining to weapons possession, rape, and arson) and shall refuse admission to any student who has committed a weapons or assaultive offense or has delivered controlled substances.

St. Patrick School will not admit any student who has been expelled from another school or committed criminal acts.

All transfer students admitted are placed on a probationary status for one year. Probation may require the student to execute and comply with a behavioral contract, treatment, and reports from social service providers.

Friday, March 13, 2020

St. Patrick School is not in session until further notice due to the Governors ordered shut down.

While the school building is closed during the Governor’s ordered shutdown, we will continue with the education of our students via Google Classroom online (grades 6-12) and weekly assignment packets (grades K-8).

There will not be a pick up or drop off of educational materials on Monday, March 30.
Elementary students have received work to extend through April 3rd.  Secondary students will continue to receive lessons via Google Classroom. We hope students will be able to turn in all completed work when school resumes on Tuesday, April 14. Please note that teachers will not be sending any coursework or lessons during Spring Break.
